C7 & C9 LED CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Differences in Bulb Size
The C7 Christmas light bulb is slightly smaller than the C9 and a popular option for wrapping columns, door frames, large windows, and the trunks of large outdoor trees. C7 LED lights are also a good size for highlighting a Christmas mantel display or wrapping Christmas trees and holiday greenery. C9 bulbs are decidedly larger in size and thus produce brighter light, which is especially noticeable from structures that are very tall or far away and perfect for large scale holiday displays. While C9 Christmas light bulbs are regularly used to outline roofs and driveways, these bold lights have also become a popular alternative to the traditional round shape of globe lights for use during outdoor parties and everyday backyard patio lighting.
C7 & C9 LED Bulb Finishes
Smooth Opaque - LED bulbs with this finish mimic the design of traditional incandescent lights and are perfect for an outdoor party or colorful Christmas light display. Mix and match smooth opaque bulb colors to create unique lighting themes or hang all white smooth finish C7 & C9 LED lights and let your existing decor shine.
Faceted - The faceted design of our C7 & C9 LED light bulbs reflects a stunning light pattern when hung next to solid surfaces and is very popular in Christmas light displays.
Which Light Sets Should You Choose?
LED vs Incandescent
According to a nationwide survey conducted by Christmas Lights, Etc of over 2,000 Christmas consumers, 66% now prefer LEDs over incandescent. So, why are so many consumers making the switch?
OptiCore® LED Bulbs
As technology advances, so do LEDs and the result is a brighter, more visually striking bulb. While standard bulbs with traditional LED diodes are good, the light output they produce is directional and inconsistent throughout the bulb. This directionality is often why people complain about LEDs being to bright - because all the light is pointing into one or two spots on the bulb. The new OptiCore LED bulb solves this problem by using SMD LEDs (think plasma tv technology) to provide consistent illumination from the base of the bulb to the tip. OptiCore bulbs also have thicker lenses with deeper facets and infused color throughout to create a rich hue.
White LED Christmas Lights
The most popular LED Christmas light colors are warm white and cool white. The decision on which white hue to use simply comes down to preference and color scheme.
Cozy and Inviting
Similar to traditional incandescent lights, warm white led lights illuminate spaces with a soft glow. These cozy hued bulbs look great indoors and outdoors and can be used just about anywhere. Warm white bulbs are an excellent color complement when mixed with red bulbs or when used along side Christmas decorations featuring gold ornaments, ribbons and accents.
Vivid and Bright
Cool White LED lights provide a bright white glow which is perfect for mixing with other colors. Popular color combinations for use with cool white LEDs include blue, red and green LED light bulbs. Cool white also works great with silver accents, snowflakes and winter wonderland themed displays.
